Application:
The tapered-plug valve closes the material inlets in a pressure-tight manner. It's main application is the dosing of high-pressure conveying vessels, used in pneumatic conveying plants.

Body: Grey cast iron Seal• Valve: Grey cast iron • Flange: Steel Sealing ring: Slotring Hydrofit, Teflon

Construction:
The tapered-plug valve consists of a body with seal valve and a drive. Each part is sealed with O-rings using a lever construction and a pneumatic cylinder. The sealing is achieved by pressing the cone against the slot ring, which is installed within a steal ring.

Electro-pneumatical Equipment:
The pneumatic drive is equipped with a 5/2-way solenoid valve. In any final position the tapered-plug valve has a limit switch in order to signalise it's position.

Operating data:
Control pressure: 3,5 bar min. Operating pressure: 16 bar max.

Special features:
Perfect sealing, in such a way that conveyed material's purity is absolute and guaranteed, such that soiling cannot occur. Very high wear resistance, since the sealing has no contact with the material. .
