Application:
The special hose valve is used as closing unit in high-pressure plants. It is mainly used at the outlet of the conveying pipe, coming out of the pressure vessel.

Material: Body: Grey cast iron - Cast iron - Aluminium • Hose: Rubber in different qualities an colours according to request and application.

Construction:
The special hose consists of a body, shear part and drive. Via the shear system the elastic tube inset is pressed together evenly. Using the clamp shear is achieved by a pneumatical cylinder, which receives controlling air through a 4/2-way solenoid valve.

Electrical equipment:
In any final position, the valve has a limit switch (opener and closer). As controlling valve a 5/2-way solenoid valve fabr. Herion is normally used. (Controlling valves from other manufacturers on request.) The electrical equipment is dependent on requirement and type of protection in any common voltage.

Special features:
In open condition the valve receives its full pipe cross section. There are no disturbing protrusions existing; therefore only a low abrasion and low loss of pressure is achieved. The advantage of this construction is, that there is only one part subject to wear and tear, which is the hose that can be exchanged with minimal effort. An additional advantage is the saving of a separate control air net, since density is achieved by equilibrium of control- and operating pressure. In case of loss of power, the valve is closed.
