Area of application:
• To be used for any type of free-flowing bulk materials, uch as cement, stone dust, quartz sand, corn or granulates
• For measurement of continuous material flow
• For weight-controlled filling of tanks, containers etc.

Goods to be weighed:
All well-flowing bulk goods like cement, rock meal, quarry sand, grain, granulate material

Measuring accurancy:
0,1% - 1%, depending on the material and the feeding principle

Material flow rate:
From 200 kg/h to 40 t/h, depending on the screw size

:Layout and operation principle:
The screw conveyor scale is placed at the inlet section perpendicular to the flowing direction.
At the outlet section usually a dynamometer is placed in the form of a measuring cell.
The bulk material is weighed while it is being conveyed from the inlet to the outlet.
The screw conveyor scale’s accuracy mainly depends on the degree to which the scale is filled, which is why a dosing device (screw conveyor, rotary valve, vibrating conveyor, for example) is placed before the scale.
